metabolisms react differently. From low-carb to lots of
exercise, many people experience pitfalls while they try to lose
weight and keep it off. There are some very simple things that
you can do to test your body and find out what works best for
you. One of the first things that people are confused over is
exercise. You can spend tons of time on a treadmill and see very
little results. This is because aerobic exercise like jogging is
not an efficient form of burning excess fat. Runners will be
thin because they run enough to give their body no choice but to
burn the fat and they usually maintain a healthy diet that
supports such a lifestyle. For the average person, we don't want
to spend hours a day exercising. It is also almost certain that
if you try to alter your daily routine by that much, you will
quit. Without the correct nutrients like omega 3 and omega 6,
aerobic exercise actually will burn muscle instead of fat. This
will cause you to have less muscle that could be burning fat.
The key to losing unwanted fat is weight training. This does not
require heavy weights or much time. Many health clubs have a
circuit training program that emphasizes doing one set of 10 -
20 weight training exercises. This will help build a healthy
amount of muscle that raises your metabolism even when you are
at rest. It is always recommended to also do some aerobic
exercise like walking or jogging as well, but you don't have to
spend an hour doing it. Twenty minutes of aerobic exercise and a
balanced diet will help maintain your body's health. You will
see the best results in maintaining your body fat levels from
